Over the years, Christmas photo sessions in my studio in Orleans, France have become a real tradition for many families, and beautiful Christmas gifts for grandparents.

Every year, I completely transform the studio to immerse children in a magical Christmas world from the moment they walk in. Soft lights, carefully prepared decor, warm atmosphere... everything is designed so they experience a magical moment, almost like visiting Santa's home.

These sessions are much more than pretty photos. It is a moment children look forward to, fully experience, and remember.

Their laughter, amazed looks and little moments of play are all there to create sincere and precious memories that you will keep long after the holidays.

Over time, these sessions have even become a real tradition for some families, who come back every year to see their children grow through these Christmas images.

An immersive Christmas decor

From the moment you arrive, you enter the studio Christmas world.

Children discover a warm, magical decor designed to spark their imagination. They wonder, play, explore... and those are exactly the moments when the most beautiful images happen.

Every year, one or two new decors are introduced, while some decor from previous years may also return for families who missed them or loved a specific atmosphere.

The goal is to create real memories, not just pretty photos.

A magical experience for children

These sessions are designed as a real magical moment for children.

At the end of the session, they can often:

  • drop their letter to Santa in the mailbox for the North Pole
  • leave their pacifier for Santa if they feel brave enough
  • enjoy small surprises that make the moment even more special

It is often a moment they wait for every year, and remember for a long time.

Christmas sessions are 30-minute mini-sessions, adapted to children's rhythm.
This format keeps the session dynamic, fun and pressure-free, so children enjoy it from beginning to end.
That is also why they love these sessions so much.
Early booking for a Christmas photo session

When should you book your Christmas photo session?

This is a question I am asked very often.

Contrary to what many people think, Christmas photo sessions are not booked in December, but from early October.

The sessions then take place between October and November, so I have time to photograph every family and retouch the images for delivery before Christmas.

Places are limited, so booking early is strongly recommended.

The studio provides more than 100 outfits for children, from 6 months to 12 years old.

You will find:

  • pretty Christmas dresses for little girls
  • pajamas and festive outfits
  • clothes adapted for little boys

These outfits are a real plus for the session, but I still recommend bringing one or two personal outfits so we have options on the day.

Ideally, choose colors connected to the Christmas world: red, white, cream, green, mustard, gray, brown or navy blue.

If several children participate, choose coordinated outfits in similar tones, without necessarily matching exactly.

A tradition that grows every year

Over time, these sessions have become much more than simple photos.

They have created what I like to call the studio Christmas family.

Every year, I see children I photographed as babies, and I watch them grow through the sessions. I see siblings change, families grow, and it is a real joy.

These images become even more valuable with the years, and turn into precious memories for the whole family.

When should I book my Christmas photo session?

How long does a Christmas session last?

These are mini-sessions of about 30 minutes, especially designed for children.

This format keeps the session lively, playful and not tiring, while still capturing beautiful moments.

How should children be dressed?

The studio provides many Christmas outfits such as dresses, pajamas and festive clothes, but I strongly recommend bringing one personal outfit just in case.

Choose colors connected to Christmas: red, white, cream, green, mustard, gray, brown or navy blue.

If several children participate, coordinated outfits in similar tones work best, without needing to match exactly.

Can parents be photographed too?

Yes, of course.

Even if Christmas sessions are mainly centered on children, we can create a few photos with parents.

These images complete the session and keep a memory of the whole family in this Christmas atmosphere.

What if my baby cannot sit up yet?

No problem. If your baby cannot sit up alone yet, we can still create a few photos of them by adapting the poses.

In this case, it is also very interesting to plan photos with parents and/or siblings to vary the images and keep beautiful family memories.

Each session adapts to your child and their development.
